Voting and Election Information

Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 - Spring Primary

Polls Open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Election Day

The Clerk's Office is open, the Thursday before the election from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  This is the last day that you can register to vote and/or vote in-person absentee prior to Election Day.  No registrations and/or absentee votes can take place after 5pm the Friday before the election.  Please plan accordingly.

Individuals wishing to vote absentee can do so but please be aware of the deadlines associated with processing.

To vote absentee, you will need to be a registered voter. There are several ways registered voters can request absentee ballots. If you have internet access, the easiest way is to sign up at MyVote Wisconsin - https://myvote.wi.gov. Voters can also request absentee ballots by completing the Wisconsin Application for Absentee Ballot then mailing or delivering to the municipal clerk’s office. An Absentee Ballot Request is required along with valid Photo ID in all instances. Voters that vote IN PERSON in the Clerk’s Office will have an envelope only to complete.

February 6th - 16th, 2024:

Mondays & Tuesdays 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Thursdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

 

If you are not sure if you’re a registered voter, online voter registration is available at https://myvote.wi.gov. Voter registration forms that can be printed and filled out by hand are also available at https://elections.wi.gov/forms/el-131-fillable.

Photo ID is required.  The easiest from of photo ID is a Wisconsin Driver’s License or Wisconsin State Issued ID card.  There are a number of acceptable photo IDs if you don’t have a Wisconsin Driver’s License.  Contact the Clerk for more information.

If you are a first-time voter, new to the area, have an address change or a name change; you will need to fill out the Wisconsin Voter Registration Application.  The easiest way is to sign-up at MyVote Wisconsin - https://myvote.wi.gov or contact the clerk for further details.  You will need a photo ID as well as proof of residence if you come to the clerk's office.

If you prefer to vote Absentee, you may do so.  You don’t need a reason, it’s your right. To vote absentee, you can go to https://myvote.wi.gov and select the button that reads "Vote Absentee by Mail" or contact the Clerk to obtain an Absentee Ballot Application.  Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (or by appointment).

***All mailed absentee ballots must be received via USPS by 8pm Election Day in order to be counted.
