NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE TOWN OF STOCKTON

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Town of Stockton Town Hall, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2026 BUDGET for the Town of Stockton will be held, immediately followed by a meeting of the Town Electors to vote on the proposed budget. The proposed 2026 budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Clerk's office, Stockton Municipal Building, 7252 6th Street, Custer, WI from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday and Tuesday and 8:30am to 12:30 pm, Thursday. The following is a summary of the proposed 2026 budget:

                                                           NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 19th, 2025 immediately following the completion
of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 budget, which begins at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall, a
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS called pursuant to Section 60.12 (1)(a) of the Wis. Statues by the
Town Board for the following purposes will be held:
1. To adopt the 2025 town tax levy to be collected in 2026 pursuant to Section 60(1)(a) of Wis. Statues.
2. To approve year 2026 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 81.01 (3) of Wis. Statues.
Immediately following the completion of the Special Town Meeting of the Electors, a Town Board Meeting
will be held to discuss and adopt the year 2026 Budget for the Town of Stockton.
